SVN projects are run by young people to create real change on the issues that are important to them! Right now, it is more frustrating than ever to be a young person, time and time again calling for change, for action, to be heard… and hearing crickets!

At SVN we ask “why wait for someone else to solve it?". We upskill, support and empower young people to be and create the change they want to see in our world. Because we know, we CAN make a difference - and we are right here, right now at SVN! Together, on our platform, that difference is even further accelerated across Australia and the globe.

Climate action education and awareness in schools

Everywhere you see headlines about the climate crisis getting worse every second, but do you really know what's happening? Why its happening? What the real facts are? We cant help with the solutions if we don't understand the problem. As the climate crisis will be affecting every young person, we should all be aware, educated and taking action. This project is trying to change schools attitudes to ensure that every young person is educated and equipped with the knowledge to take meaningful climate action.

Funding for Recycling in Schools

We take recycling for granted at home - we have a yellow bin right at our fingertips. But did you know schools don't have this same luxury? It’s a common occurrence for public schools to have no commingled recycling at all - an injustice to schools, students and our planet.

OceansFeed

www.oceansfeed.com will make Australia’s underwater marine worlds more visible, more accessible and more vital to people. It will bring the sea where it needs to be into the hearts and lives of those who aren’t as connected. www.oceansfeed.com will build awareness of marine worlds online. In a click we will bring marine ecosystems and wildlife into people’s home. In a click we will educate and make more people care about what is underwater. www.oceansfeed.com will be epic, expert and engaging. Oceansfeed will be a multiplatform environmental conservation organization featuring a Instagram account @oceansfeed_au, website and a Facebook page making for easy for collaboration and communication plus making imparting of underwater information as accessible as possible.
